"After my husband’s stroke, we were fortunate to have Ms. Pietruszka teach my husband, who had considerable disabilities. I unequivocally recommend Mrs. Lisa Polak as a kind, encouraging, compassionate music mentor, teacher, and friend. She has all the qualities we value in a music professional and exudes a love of music to all who experience her presence."

Myra Demeter, Ph.D.

"Lisa taught piano to our young sons for many years and instilled a love of music and performing which they’ve carried into adulthood. She’s such a talented, loving and passionate person which comes through in everything she does. We all adore her."

Myrna Kirkpatrick

"Ms. Pietrsuzka has a unique ability to connect with students of all ages. She is warm and she is patient. After just one year I was able to play Moonlight Sonata! I cannot recommend Lisa enough for helping me to fulfill my dream!"

"Lisa is an amazing piano teacher. She has been extremely patient with my active 6- year-old and has found creative ways to make piano fun. My daughter looks forward to her lessons and Lisa has even found creative ways to motivate her to practice at home between lessons. If you are looking for a piano teacher, we highly recommend Lisa!"

Dr. Giuliette Recht

"Lisa is encouraging, sensitive, and knows how to urge you on with humor, but can also be direct and not let you get away with being your second best."
